WAVEOPTICS REACHES THE FINALS OF THE PRESTIGIOUS LLOYDS BANK NATIONAL BUSINESS AWARDS
We are proud to have been shortlisted in the LDC Growth Through Innovation category at the prestigious 2020 Lloyds Bank National Business Awards. This acknowledgement is an opportunity for all finalist to celebrate their innovation that has led to growth and recognise the achievements they have made.

Throughout the pandemic, we have seen the increased reliance and potential of technology to do good for both businesses and consumers. Through our conversations with key stakeholders, it is clear that there is an opportunity for AR technology to have a positive impact on various industries through myriad different use cases. We continue to be the world’s leading designer of waveguides and projectors, and this award celebrates the exciting progress that the business has made”
Over the last two and a half years, we have been able to achieve unprecedented growth throughout the business:
- Expanded from 20 employees to now over 115 with offices in the UK, Taiwan, North America, and China
- The majority of the growth has been in the UK where we have greatly expanded our technical teams and opened a New Product Introduction manufacturing facility
- We more than tripled our customer technical support teams to support our expanding customer base
