We’re looking for a Facilities Engineer to join the Snap Lab Optical team to maintain and service semiconductor manufacturing and process equipment and infrastructure in our Clean Room!

What you’ll do:

  • Equipment daily checks, preventative maintenance and repair
  • Re-stocking and supply management
  • Equipment process documentation and calibration
  • Facility & infrastructure upkeep
  • Monitor user activities in the clean room to ensure proper and safe operation of the tools
  • Reach out and coordinate with external services to assist in any major equipment repairs and upgrades

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Experience with semiconductor processing equipment and facilities including installation, preventative maintenance planning, and troubleshooting
  • Experience of working in a cleanroom environment
  • Asset & Inventory management experience
  • Systematic problem solving
  • Experience working and collaborating closely with cross functional teams internally and externally with suppliers
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic product development environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  • H&D or Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Optics or Electrical Engineering
  • Prior work (3+ years)  in clean room or chemical laboratory in a semiconductor manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Optics or Electrical Engineering
  • Startup and commissioning of Facilities systems.
